"Gaijin Blues have an incredibly unique outlook on making music: Japanese sampling has rarely been used more creatively" - Tina Edwards (Worldwide FM)

Musicians and gaming nerds Gaijin Blues continue to tease us with a video game influenced single before the highly-anticipated release of their debut album “Gaijin Blues II”.

“Puff-Puff” is the second single to be taken from “Gaijin Blues II”. The album is the conceptual soundtrack to a video game that hasn't been made (yet!). Each song on the album is a chapter in the game's story (think Dragon Quest V, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV type JRPG) and “Puff-Puff” is a truly epic progressive five-minute journey weaving uplifting Japanese pop samples and live instrumentation.

The first single from the album was revealed earlier this year, and Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music) loved it so much he gave it a world premiere. Follow up support came from Nemone, and channels such as NTS, Worldwide FM, KCRW and many more.
